Re: Review
Wow! You're quick! :-) Thanks so much for your excellent review, Darkiss! I have been told that the book starts out slow, but I'm glad you stuck with it. Thanks for your honesty and kind words.

Best,
Xina

Is, The Gauntlet Thrown a dead project ?
I cannot find any mention of the second book - I would GLADLY pay for it, if it were available in Ebook format, or even (gasp !) in print - but cannot find any updated comments beyond this entry - please update your journal, and let at least ME know what is going on - the book was FANTASTIC ! I loved the plot - I was able to figure out a few things along the way, but overall, it kept you guessing - great work, and THANK YOU for sharing your story !

Re: Is, The Gauntlet Thrown a dead project ?
No, it's definitely not a dead project! :D The second book is written and only needs some mass editing. We haven't quite decided whether to charge for it or not - brainstorming needed there.

And thank you so much! :D

Re: Is, The Gauntlet Thrown a dead project ?
After 4 hours of relentless reading I finished the Gauntlet Thrown!
I have to say! It never dragged! It was always refreshing and each chapter flowed perfectly!
However! I am now DESPERATE to read book number 2!
Any chance you have a deadline for its' release? So I can pen it in my diary
Thanks!

Re: Is, The Gauntlet Thrown a dead project ?
Just read the book...again! So far I've read it twice and it is, without a doubt, one of the best books I've ever had the pleasure of reading. I know the second book will only make me a bigger fan, so I can't wait for it.

P.S.: Go Sellaris!!

Book 2
Well as I just finished reading book one and now this site I would like to join the list of people who can’t wait for the second book.

As others have mentioned, I will gladly pay for this book. I read this on the nook and am hoping that you will continue to allow E reader formats.

The only critique that I have is that book one "The Gauntlet Thrown" had many an error with duplicate words as well as incorrect word usage.

Please feel free to mail me if you would like me to go into more detail as to where I noticed these small misses.

Please understand that my critique above should not under any circumstances belittle this well written novel.

You have developed a great world and I am very much looking forward to the continued development of both the world and characters.

The Gauntlet Thrown
What a great story. I have been a fantasy fan for years and I must say this is one of the best stories I've read in a long time. I can't wait to read the second installment. I do hope it will be offered as an e-book but I will read it in any format. Thank you for the enjoyment, reading this book gave me.

Gauntlet Thrown
Yes, I must agree that the book was very well done. The characters are intriguing and the world in which they live is familiar enough to wonder how Brydon and his unlikely friends will overcome the greed and evil of the Dark Master and the demoralization of the members of the Concurrence.

I too, look forward to a second book in this series. It was a delight on every level. A very satisfying read.

The Challenge Accepted
The second book flowed perfectly from the first and was just as interesting and exciting as the first. I am now waiting for the third book. Please tell me how long will I have to impatiently wait for it! I think I will go back and read the first two books over again.
